News and Updates

Hey everyone! Welcome to the site! It's not ready for Roleplaying yet but feel free to chat in the General board!

I've added a C-box so you guys can have fun with that. I'll be working on the clans terratory's during this week and the second half of the history soon after that! If we keep bringing in members and I keep updating the site we should be able to start Roleplaying by the end of this week!

While You Wait!
I, the amazing and wonderful MOD Dog (a.k.a. Nanaki, a.k.a. Xinra), have made a Misc. RP Board so that everyone who wishes to RP can do so while we finish getting everything sorted.
Remember, advertising will mean that the leader positions are filled quicker, which means that we can start officially roleplaying sooner so... get advertising!

Keep in mind that I am looking for someone to moderate the Debate board! This entails putting up subjects that our members can debate on and talk about.

Requirements:
You must be a good writer and be able to update the Debate board once a month or so.

My name is Bugstar, formally Lovebug.
Call me Bug.
This is my Story, from my time as a Kittypet to the present time.

Chapter One:
Good-Bye Woman

It was a nice day, in my eyes at least, slightly cloudy yet not raining. Though the clouds did threaten to burst at any moment. Yes, it was a nice day. A nice day to sit on the window sill and watch the flowers wave in the wind and watch those pesky birds flitter about, taunting me.

Ah It wasn't fair! I was stuck here and there, there they sat on the other side of the window, waving their tail feathers at me and just asking to be pounced on.

My tail twitched in frustration, yet I knew that I would never be allowed outside. No...I wouldn't the Woman always kept me inside, with a collar. It had no bells on it as most cat's did, but it was white and smelled disgusting.

I wrinkled my nose at the smell; I had gotten used to it but the memory of it was still there. Well at least the fleas seemed to hate it too. That was the only upside to the collar.

My ears flicked and I turned as the sound of the Woman getting out of bed attracted my attention. I gave the birds one last, longing look and my mouth watered at the thought then I stood and jumped from the sill, weaving my way through suitcases and furniture to the Woman's' and the Mans' bedroom.

I nudged the already door open farther and peeked inside, letting out a meow, trying to bring attention to myself. The Man swung his feet over the bed and glared at me.

The Woman was in the bathroom and I flicked my ears back slightly. I didn't like the way he was looking at me, not at all. He stood and stomped over, I stood there, unflinching.

He snarled something at me, I couldn't understand what he was hissing about, and aimed a light kick at me. With a yowl I jumped from his foot and the door was closed in my face.
I hissed at the door and turned, tail and head in the air and went to sit by my bowl in the kitchen.

Evil Man, horrid Man. I had no clue why Woman had chosen him for her mate. I took my spot at my bowl and daintily licked my paw, awaiting Woman's appearance.

Soon enough she appeared and I stood, tail curling and went to her. I twisted my way around her legs, hoping to get some food out of her, something other then the brown dry stuff they fed me.

She let out a sound of joy and bent to stroke my back, which I arched in response. Then I started to purr at her, my chest vibrating. If there was one thing I learned it was that Uprights liked to hear my purring and they generally gave me treats. And those treats were normally better then the brown kibble or mush I was served.

Sure enough she looked around then pulled something off the table, it was yellow and curved. She peeled it and pulled a bit off handing it over to me. I took it from her and was overjoyed at the sweet taste, it was mushy though and I had a bit of trouble chewing.

She rubbed my ears and walked over to the counter, fixing something, she returned to me and handed me yet another treat! This must have been my lucky day! Two treats? I normally only got one, if that.

When she handed it to me I noticed the inside was a lighter pink then the outside which was red and it seemed to have seeds on the outside, it was sweeter then the last. It was the best treat I'd ever had.

She soon pored dry brown stuff into my bowl and filled my other bowl with white cream. I darted over and she left the kitchen. I downed some of the dry brown stuff and drank all the cream. Man had come to the kitchen now he ignored me as always and poured a cup of brown icky stuff. It smelled awful.

Woman came back in, fully dressed now instead of in a cloak of soft fuzzy stuff. She grabbed a cup of the brown stuff and then took a sip, talking to Man. She left the cup and went to the room with the window sill, taking two suitcases and walking out the door to the large metal object that both her and Man controlled. They made the poor beast take them everywhere.

She came back and took the last suitcase and walked to Man, giving him an embrace and kissing him. She came to me and rubbed my back, she said something. Her tone was soothing and a little bit sad. I purred louder, trying to make her happy, and hoping for another treat. She rubbed my ears one last time, went to Man, hugged and kissed him again before grabbing a flat slice of something that left crumbs on the floor as she took a bite.

Then she took the suitcase and left the house. For some reason I knew I wouldn't see her for a long time and I let out a mewl of good bye.

Sadly. I did not know then that I would never again lay eyes on Woman.
